Equota serves Chinese high-tech industrial zones/parks, commercial and industrial buildings, distributed power plants and commercial buildings like department stores and hotels. Within the first six months, one Equota customer, a steel plant in East China, saved $1 million USD on energy-related costs and realized an equivalent reduction of 5,000 tons of coal.
