Envoy America is the first national ride-sharing service designed specifically for the needs seniors, the infirm and their families. Envoy America provides transportation PLUS assistance and companionship services for clients who cannot, should not, or simply do not wish to drive themselves. Unlike the standard pick up and drop off, point to point service of other ridesharing companies, Envoy America distinct offering is more like what an adult child or spouse would provide including: door-to-door service where trained Companion Drivers (CDs) not only drive, but also provide assistance and companionship at all points along the journey. As an example: Instead of dropping clients off at the curb outside a medical facility for an appointment, Envoy America CD escorts and accompanies clients into the medical facility assuring that they reach the right office on time and safely, takes clients from doctor to doctor within the facility, pick up pharmacy, and perhaps go grocery shopping for much needed nutrition.
