Education for free is a non-profit group focused on solving important problems for semi-urban and rural government schools. The virtual classroom service by Education for free offers a technology platform that allows people to teach remotely from wherever they are. The service comprises features such as bi-directional video streaming between a remote teacher and students in a classroom with shared white board; these technologies are expensive, but we provide them for free to schools that deploy the EFF Virtual classroom. The infrastructure needed to maintain this technology is inexpensive, and can run on low-end internet connection and on any basic computer.
