Drinor is an innovative company that provide solutions for a higher utilization of all biomass.
By providing new solutions to the market we want to change the perceptive of biomas potential. We challenge the way biomass is seen and also how to do business within the segment, by providing innovative business models.
Bioenergy is the only option today to become the future on and of switch for energy demand. Biomass has unlimited potential to become the solution to replace fossil fuels as an energy source. Our mission is to be the provider of the solution that make that possible.
Today Drinor is working with the development of a constant dewatering process, where we aim to increase the utilization of Biomass by dewatering of biomaterials. Drinors CDP process is designed to mechanically dewater biomaterial such as wood chips, sawdust, etc. A variety of applications can benefit from the significantly lower energy consumption and positive dewatering process effects.
The benefit of mechanical dewatering is the economy potential in low cost dewatering and the repetitive and uniform desired moisture levels out. Additionally, compaction is an excellent step to improve the density and transported heat value, making transportation more effective which is substantial for our environment.
The mechanical dewatering press solution is primarily intended to dewater solid biomaterials, such as wood chips and sawdust from sawmills, forest residuals, and slurries, before being used in final applications. Biomaterial contains 55% – 65% water, and must be dried before use in final applications like pellet production, combustion, etc.
