Dovetail Electric Aviation is leading the regional and general aviation industry into an exciting new, sustainable era by enabling aviation operators to fly commercially viable regional routes in nil emission, electric powered aircraft. Dovetail is at the forefront of developing, certifying and distributing electric powered, nil emission propulsion systems for existing commuter aircraft – converting legacy aircraft into electric aircraft. The activities Dovetail Electric is undertaking connects with a longer term vision to develop a completely new regional aircraft, the experience gained with the retrofit business will augment the power of Distributed Electric Propulsion and an optimized aerodynamic integrated design (with initial concept design work already completed by Dante).
