Grupalia provides digital group loans for micro-entrepreneurs in Latin America. Currently, over 6M people in Mexico use group loans, a formal version of the "tanda", making it a US$5B underserved market and +$25B for LatAm. Despite its low risk, obtaining one is still an offline, time-consuming and expensive process. Grupalia redesigned the group lending experience to be online, more affordable and 4x faster than traditional offerings. The team behind Grupalia scaled a fintech with US$60M in loans and since launching 5 months ago, they have seen strong repayment success and adoption from customers.
