While working with some of the brightest minds in Brooklyn, we’ve created a studio space that provides room to put our ambitions into action. Everyone has a passion to create, and Craftsman Avenue brings a hands-on environment with classes taught by artists from the Brooklyn community. We learn by doing, and offer classes that encourage you to do the same. Our artists teach classes on chocolate making, jewelry design, leatherworking, and everything in between. Each hands-on experience gives you the freedom to explore a new passion, create something of your own, and join our community of makers and creators.
Our classes are anywhere from 2-4.5 hours and are conducted and led by pillars of the Brooklyn arts community. With our small class sizes, you have the opportunity to connect with both the artist and others in the studio. We’re looking to spread ideas and keep the classes about adventure, innovation, and creativity.
You can also join through a monthly membership to our studio in Gowanus to make your idea a reality. Our studio space is an open and fully-equipped environment that gives you the space and resources to build a personal project, put a Kickstarter into action, or simply find a new passion. We’re about facilitating the human connection and ambition that allows for trying out new things without the fear of failure. The Craftsman Avenue membership gives you the space and resources to turn the “I Wish” projects into “I Did” projects.
