We believe that that custom made anything doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, and that by upcycling we can rejuvenate the hidden potential of that ‘old and tired’ piece and do our part for the planet. Our mission, is to bring back that loving' feeling to your living space with custom slipcovers.
We believe that every single one of our product has to be made in-house, so that we can provide the best possible workmanship in every seam, individually inspect every slipcovers sewn, make sure they're cleaned and pressed before having them folded neatly into a lining bag and only then packaged into a double corrugated shipping box - but but... it's just textiles right? well, they do travel across halfway across the world in most cases though.
We believe in treating our customers the way we ourselves want to be treated, with honesty, respect and additional kindness. We're here to help you solve a problem you have, we won't upsell you or try to sell a "you might be interested in this also" product.
Lastly, we truly believe that great products should in fact speak for themselves; we don't have sales persons instead we have our customer service dudes and dudettes whom simply take turns to reply calls, emails, live chats or FB messages.
* Who are we:
A small flexible team of 12 people.
No giant warehouses. No commission driven middlemen. No fancy showrooms.
Just few seamstresses and artisans running around the workshop getting products cut, sewn, cleaned pressed, folded and shipped.
* How do we do it
We started out by creating a tidy, easy to use online workroom and provided a handpicked selection of fabrics from all around the world for your tailor-making perusal. You then design your own covers, relax for 3 weeks, and insert the covers yourself as it arrives at your doorstep.
* We promise an awesome fit
Comfort Works is driven by a passion for design and high quality craftsmanship. We make no compromises when it comes to designing and producing our family of products. In an effort to serve home lovers and Ikea-fans, we are constantly challenging ourselves to produce unparalleled tailor-made covers. No matter how you define your style, your passions or your budget, our business will make sure you’re well covered (pun intended).
In everything we do, our philosophy is simple: We want to surround ourselves with things that we love. We will not sell you a product we wouldn’t buy for our own home. We also want to inspire delirious laughter and that victorious feeling in your stomach when you know you have found the best deal in town.
* Worldwide shipping
Our custom slipcover is made to order, so it can take a little longer to arrive than an "off-the-shelf" buy. It's a trade off- but every single Comfort Works piece is carefully handmade with expert attention to detail by a long established specialist workshop, so you can be proud of your honest, tailor-made, quality product.
* Real time tracking
You can keep an eye on your order every step of the way-- while its being made, and while its being shipped. We have a live chat service on our website--so feel free to drop in and say hi.
