The Beverage Industry is facing a major problem when it comes to spoilage. There is large consumer demand for whole, natural and healthy juice products otherwise known as super premium juices. However, these juices have a limited shelf-life and are sold at a premium price, which is a potential for major loss to the beverage producer.
Chinova Bioworks is developing a natural, safe and effective antimicrobial Chitosan polymer with broad spectrum protection to enhance the shelf-life of premium juices. This technology will be the platform to launch into a wide range of applications from regular juices to the food industry, eventually evolving into cosmetics and medical applications.
