Ceradis B.V. Ceradis was founded in 2005 by Wim van der Krieken as a spin-off of Wageningen University & Research. As a former scientist of WUR, Wim had spent approx. 15 years on divers science projects on the borderline of chemistry and biology and wrote several patents for WUR. The knowledge developed over that time period is still an important asset for Ceradis today. With the spin-off of Ceradis from Wageningen University Research gave an exclusive license to Ceradis on a number of important formulation patents and gave the first right of refusal on new developed technology in the fungicide crop protection. At the same time, WUR became a major shareholder of Ceradis and continue to be that today. In 2009 Ceradis started its research center in Bogota, Colombia. In this location, close to the equator, Ceradis can combine year-round field trials and quick product evaluation to speed-up the product development cycle. Today, Ceradis Colombia plays also an important role in the sales and support of the Latin American market. Vision To create safer food for mankind by developing and marketing products that are cleaner and safer for user and environment at comparable price / performance to conventional products. Mission To be the preferred partner and provider of innovative formulation technology in crop protection and plant nutrition for the worldwide agricultural industry.
