CellX Biosolutions is an ETH Zurich-born startup, on a mission to redefine how we treat chemical pollutants. While traditional methods of chemical disposal, such as incineration, are costly and not sustainable, our pioneering approach leverages Nature's Master Recyclers, bacteria, to address chemical pollution challenges. We leverage our patented microtechnology deployable directly in remote environments, to capture unique bacterial consortia with superior degradation capabilities for specific micropollutants, such as microplastics, PFAS, pesticides and pharmaceuticals. These biological solutions are then scaled up as a game-changing cultures of degraders, to be implemented directly in industries' chemical storage reservoirs and wastewater treatment plants. Our ultimate goal? To revolutionize current practices, steering away from costly incineration methods.
