Our activities started in February 2014 and since then, we have escalated pretty quickly.
We can proudly claim, that we are the first German company releasing an insect based burger.
Our BUX BURGER entered the Belgian market in October 2015.

The legal framework in Europe takes some time to develop official rules for insects as food: So far, Belgium and Switzerland are the only countries that clearly allow them. Some countries, like the Netherlands and France tolerate them, while others like the overcautious Germans don’t.
The Europe-wide permission for insects as food is in sight and we can’t wait for it… until then, stay bugelicious and meet us in Brussels!
