Brightloop is a tool for teachers to quickly capture and share student insights. By allowing teachers to observe and document formative assessment quickly we enable them to use it actionably for planning, grading and collaboration. Brightloop believes that a teacher can quickly see the needs of their students, but often has too many obligations to always have time to analyze and design lessons based on student need. We help them to do this simply, and help guide them toward a more individualized classroom where parents and specialists are all working together.
A student may spend 20% of their academic life completing some kind of assessment – but should the remaining 80% not help teachers to make instruction decisions? Assessment cycles can be long and time-consuming and often hide what the student actually understands. Teachers and schools struggle to communicate evidence-based practices that don’t rely solely on numbers.
