BonTriage was founded by Dr. Robert Cowan MD., Professor of Neurology & Director of the Headache & Facial Pain Clinic at Stanford, and Dr. Alan Rapoport MD. Clinical Professor of Neurology at The David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. Los Angeles. The United States Healthcare system is challenged when addressing chronic disorders. One out to every two American adults reports having at least one chronic illness annually: headache, sleep disorder, memory loss (dementia, Alzheimer's), mood disorders (anxiety, depression), chronic pain, diabetes and obesity to name a few. The U.S. spends 75% of all healthcare dollars on patients with one or more chronic conditions. BonTriage has created an intelligent healthcare repository that includes chronic disease specific questionnaires (Instruments), content, and mobile apps. It integrates the latest in computer-based artificial intelligence, predictive modeling, and mobile technologies, leveraging the diagnostic expertise of leading specialists in each chronic disease area.
