Find Bold Rock up and down the East Coast in your neighborhood watering hole or grocery store and come home to visit us at one of our 4 locations. Bold Rock uses locally grown Virginia and North Carolina apples to craft our award-winning hard ciders at our rustic Cider Barn in Nellysford, VA as well as our new spacious Mills River Cidery just outside of Asheville, NC. Bold Rock also offers a fun seasonal retail outpost with amazingly scenic views and the tree to glass apple experience at Carter Mountain Orchard near Charlottesville, VA. Tours are offered daily, 11 AM - 6 PM at our Nellysford and Mills River locations and flights, pints, and Bold Rock logo souvenirs, wearables and gifts (S.W.A.G.) are available at all of our locations. Tastings are free for adults 21 and over and we offer non-alcoholic sparkling sweet cider for children as well as food at our Nellysford location. Enjoy a bottle or glass of cider and take home 6-packs, 12-packs, cases or growlers. Our friendly staff will be glad to extend their cider knowledge and help you with your selections.
