Be.EV

Be.EV is the largest EV charging network across Greater Manchester, and we continue expanding at pace across the north of England in order to make charging simple, reliable and effortless. We work closely with the communities in which we operate and were appointed by TfGM in 2019 to actively expand and maintain the city-region’s publicly owned EV charging network. Our mission is to give all drivers what they want: more chargers, in more places that they can access more easily and more cost effectively. With 140 charging points in place, we are working with local authorities and businesses to accelerate the installation of chargers in the region and build a truly unified and community-led EV charging network. We aim to secure sites in 2022 to build a network of over 1,000 chargers across the North of England, including “green oasis” hubs and destination charging for the benefit of everyone in the region. We want to make a genuine difference and drive positive social value in the communities we serve. Our mission is to provide uniquely simple, seamless and effortless vehicle charging experiences for all, irrespective of area or affluence, and to work with local communities, businesses and partners to improve and enhance EV charging access. We aim to leave no area behind and ensure the choice of switching to electric is one that is available to all.
