Bboxx has installed more than 350,000 solar home systems, with a strong presence in Rwanda, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Togo. Bboxx have over 800 employees across 9 global offices Rwanda, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Togo, with its head office in the UK and its manufacturing operations based in China.
Today, more than 1,000,000 people benefit from our clean, reliable and affordable electricity. Bboxx directly contribute to 10 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, with a sizeable impact on reducing inequalities.
With a strong presence globally in 11 countries in Africa and Asia, Bboxx is scaling rapidly by forging strategic partnerships with investors, governments, telecommunication firms and energy majors. The scale of the challenge is huge. 800 million people globally live without access to electricity. This is also the size of the opportunity. But the provision of electricity is the entry point as it creates demand in other areas such as gas, water, internet, finance, white goods a demand which the company also seeks to meet.
