Bäckerhaus Veit is an artisan bakery founded by Sabine Veit, who hails from a long line of Master Bakers dedicated to producing high quality, hand shaped breads according to time-honored traditions.
In 1987, Sabine brought her family’s three generations of scratch German bread making experience to North America, where she opened her first retail bakery. Sabine’s sole objective of the bakery was to provide consumers with an honest, high quality bread that was true to the original intentions of what real bread is supposed to be - a wonderful, high nutrition eating experience.
Today, Backerhaus Veit has grown allowing Sabine to fulfill her dream of bringing her passion for quality to bread lovers across North America and to be recognized as North America’s signature baker of the finest authentic European artisan breads. Our commitment to quality is unmatched, making hand crafted artisan breads or creating the same impeccable taste and quality using our state of the art equipment to deliver the best product possible, ensuring your customer’s experience bread the way it was meant to be.
