Axia Energy II focuses on creating value for its investors by identifying opportunities through geological expertise, completion optimization and cost control. The team identifies significant, repeatable “manufacturing” plays in North America through creative ideas, new technology and deliberate execution. The core team has been working together for nearly 20 years at public and private companies and has demonstrated the ability to consistently outperform other operators through operational expertise. Most recently, Axia built a significant asset base of meaningful production and reserves in the Uinta Basin. The team sold these assets in 2019 to a private operator.
Axia Energy II was the second partnership between management and Old Ironsides.
