ltergaze is a 3D printed smartphone based Virtual Reality headset that offers an immersive 110 FOV experience in a compact and wireless package.
Regarding our business model, we are working towards pioneering the concept of ‘crowd-manufacturing’ using 3D printing technology. By collaborating with 3D printer owners and 3D printing facilities we will be able to offer a hand-crafted tailor-made locally manufactured product with an incredible level of customisation. Arguably, at the moment, there are over 8.4 million unique variations depending on the design model, smartphone bracket size and colour combinations.
In terms of Virtual Reality, Altergaze offers a stereoscopically accurate solution by using a combination of fixed interchangeable lenses and specific mathematical formulas. This makes Altergaze a HMD that is truly compatible with any smartphone without causing any eye strains.
