Aggrigator - we are a Stanford University incubated company building the world’s first "aggregated marketplace" for the sellers and buyers of fresh local produce. We empower small farmers — giving them access to bigger markets and enabling them to grow their businesses by selling directly to a wide range of commercial buyers — grocers, restaurants and institutions. Our marketplace platform provides small farmers with critical adjacent ecosystem services — financing, transportation, logistics — to meet demand in the world's most important markets. We are a interdisciplinary team of experts in supply chain, big data, agricultural and behavioral sciences. Our proprietary algorithms and technologies make “aggregated markets” a reality for small farmers. Aggrigator is poised to evolve the highly fragmented and broken $200 billion dollar market for locally-sourced produce. We enable small farmers to leverage the power of our aggregation platform to access to bigger markets, enhanced profitability and connect to enabling services they need to scale their business (reduced payment times, transportation & logistics). Aggrigator enables buyers — grocers, restaurants, and institutions to augment their ability to buy fresh and competitively priced produce from local farmers by aggregating bids, creating the best matches, then providing transportation and financial services to ensure JIT delivery. Aggrigator provides the visibility and tools necessary for financial institutions to partner and reduce friction in b2b commerce transactions conducted via the marketplace platform. This results in reduced cost of business, risks and sustained profitability, in an otherwise inaccessible fragmented long tail ecosystem, now enabled through aggregation.
