The dangerous activity at drug houses causes inner-city residents to feel like prisoners in their own home. We realized neighbors were suffering alone and needed an advocate to educate them about their rights and fight for justice alongside them. ACT staff builds relationships with neighbors who are upset by their current environment, educates them about their rights to live in a safe neighborhood and connects them with volunteer lawyers who will represent them all the way to the courthouse if necessary. The ultimate hope is the spiritual lives of those we serve will be transformed and mirror the physical transformation we seek in the neighborhood.
