Autopiloted Drone and Operating System
Today?s ?Unmanned Aerial Vehicles? (UAVs) are only unmanned in the sky, but are still ?manned? on the ground. We are building an Autopiloted Drone Operating System to allow "Unmanned Air Vehicle" to be truly "Unmanned". We are making drones smarter; enabling drones to cruise, to detect and track objects, and to build 3D reconstruction all with minimal supervision. This Autopiloted Drone Operating System runs on any drones, just like Android for the smartphones. Our key innovation involves the deployment of SLAM(Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) technology that is based on a fusion of stereo camera, ultrasonic, barometer to allow drones to autopilot in both indoor and outdoor.
