1Sheeld: An open-source platform that turns your smartphone into any Arduino Shield, A new product by Integreight, Inc. Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for artists, designers, hobbyists and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. To make a project with Arduino you need to buy some accessories to hook it to the internet or connect it to a touchscreen, these accessories are called shields. So, 1Sheeld is basically a shield that allows you to use your smart phones as input or output for Arduino, you can use it to control an RC car using the gyroscope sensor, or tweet when someone enters the room! Stay tuned for the kickstarter campaign launching soon in November 2013!
