Stanly, a Los Angeles-based platform dedicated to connecting fans and celebrating their favorite fandoms, recently made waves in the tech world by securing a substantial $8 million in Pre-Series A funding. The funding round, spearheaded by Adrian Cheng’s C Capital and backed by prominent investors like AppWorks, Goodwater, Palm Drive Capital, and others, marks a significant milestone for the company.

Founded in 2023 by Rebecca Leung, Liberty City Ventures, and Popular Culture, Stanly offers a unique app that serves as a virtual haven for fans to engage with one another and their beloved artists. The platform enables fan-to-fan and artist-to-fan communication and commerce, allowing users to join or create fan-generated artist fan clubs where they can discover exclusive content, participate in gaming, chat, earn rewards, shop, and stay updated on the latest news and events.

Since its beta launch in February, Stanly has seen impressive growth, attracting over 200,000 members and supporting 50 popular fandoms, including those dedicated to music icons like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, J Balvin, BTS, and Post Malone. The platform's success has been further underscored by the presence of over 300 additional fandoms on the waitlist, signaling a promising trajectory for expansion in the near future.

With the newly acquired funding, Stanly is poised to ramp up its operations across various departments, including engineering, operations, creator support, marketing, and sales. The company's strategic focus on enhancing the platform's features and user experience reflects its commitment to providing fans and artists with a seamless and captivating online space for interaction and connection.

Jens Grede, Co-Founder of Popular Culture, expressed the team's vision behind Stanly, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and rewarding online environment for fans to engage with their favorite artists. The latest funding round not only positions Stanly as a key player in the realm of fandom but also paves the way for the development of innovative product features that will further solidify its status as a global hub for fan communities.

As Stanly continues to evolve and expand its reach, the platform stands at the forefront of a burgeoning movement that celebrates the power of fandom and the profound connections it fosters among enthusiasts worldwide. With its $8 million Pre-Series A funding serving as a catalyst for growth and innovation, Stanly is poised to revolutionize the way fans engage with their passions and connect with like-minded individuals in a digital landscape brimming with excitement and possibility.
