Siu emphasized the need for digital property rights in popular games like Minecraft and Roblox, a gap that The Sandbox aims to bridge by ushering in a new era of UGC games centered on digital ownership.

The Sandbox's roadmap includes updates to its Game Maker and 3D editor tools, as well as the introduction of new social interactions and avatar abilities. Additionally, the platform plans to expand gameplay possibilities through a multiplayer rules system, set to debut in Beta later this year before a full public release in 2025.
