OneOrder, a tech supply chain and logistics solution based in Cairo, Egypt, has recently secured $16 million in equity and debt funding in a Series A round. This funding, led by Delivery Hero Ventures, aims to fuel the company's expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, starting with the United Arab Emirates. With previous investments from Norrsken22, Nclude, and A15, OneOrder is set to revolutionize the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) industries in the MENA region.

Tackling the fragmented and manual processes that plague supply chains in Africa and the MENA region, OneOrder aims to streamline operations for businesses in the HoReCa sector. By providing a one-stop-shop solution that eliminates the need to work with multiple suppliers and receive numerous daily deliveries, OneOrder is transforming the food procurement process. Through its web-based platform and mobile application, the company offers customers access to over 700 stock-keeping units (SKUs), extensive analytics, and embedded financing for growth.

In addition to addressing supply chain issues, OneOrder integrates with ERP/POS systems and simplifies financing and payments for its customers. By collaborating with the Commercial International Bank Egypt (CIB) to enable variable payments by direct debit, OneOrder is paving the way for more efficient and streamlined transactions in the industry. CEO Tamer Amer emphasizes the importance of technology and human creativity in driving the company's success, empowering customers to focus on areas that require human judgement.

With a lean team and a tech-enhanced strategy, OneOrder has already served over 1370 clients and is poised for further growth in the GCC region. Managing Partner Brendon Blacker of Delivery Hero Ventures expresses excitement about leading OneOrder's Series A round and expanding the company's impact across a wider geographic footprint. As OneOrder continues to innovate and disrupt the HoReCa supply chain in the MENA region, the future looks bright for this revolutionary logistics startup.
