ChrysCapital, the India-focused private equity firm, has sealed a $700 million continuation fund to retain its position in the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The fund, backed by HarbourVest Partners from the US and European funds LGT Capital Partners and Pantheon Ventures, allows ChrysCapital to keep its stake in NSE intact. This move comes as the latest investors in the continuation fund acquired the stake from investors of ChrysCapital’s Fund VI. With a track record of raising over $5 billion across nine funds and realizing $7 billion from 80 exits since its establishment in 1999, ChrysCapital continues to make strategic moves in the Indian market.
