Berlin-based company roclub has secured €4M in Seed funding to expand its teleoperations platform for the global healthcare industry. Led by Speedinvest and FJ Labs, with support from Better Ventures and strategic angels, the funding will fuel the company's expansion into Europe and the US, as well as the growth of its international team.

Founded in 2022 by Dr. Matthias Issing and André Glardon, roclub's teleoperation platform allows for remote access and operation of medical devices, starting with MRI/CT scanners. This technology enables remote scanning, support, and education, bridging the gap in healthcare personnel shortages and ensuring that examinations are not canceled due to a lack of medical-technical professionals.

With a focus on flexibility for physicians and improved access for patients, roclub's solution has already gained traction in the DACH region, serving university hospitals, small to mid-size hospitals, and outpatient centers. The company's Advisory Board includes radiologists and radiographers from around the world, ensuring a deep understanding of industry pain points and needs.

Speedinvest partner Andrea Zitna praised roclub's founders for their expertise in the medtech and diagnostics imaging space, highlighting the potential for significant impact on healthcare providers and patients alike. FJ Labs partner Jeff Weinstein expressed excitement about roclub's vision of a marketplace for remote healthcare services, emphasizing the value of secure connectivity solutions and marketplace integration.

As roclub continues to innovate and expand its reach, the company is poised to revolutionize remote healthcare delivery and address critical challenges in the global healthcare landscape. With a strong foundation in teleoperations and a commitment to improving access and efficiency in healthcare, roclub is set to make a lasting impact on the industry.
