Summer Health Secures $11.65M in Series A Funding

NYC-based digital health company, Summer Health, has successfully raised $11.65M in Series A Funding. The round was co-led by 7wire Ventures and Lux Capital, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Metrodora Ventures, Box Group, Shrug Capital, Pivotal Ventures, and Leaps by Bayer. The company plans to use the funds to enhance distribution channels and expand service offerings to address the lack of access to pediatricians. Led by CEO Ellen DaSilva and Dr. Ali Alhassani, Summer Health provides text-based pediatric support, eliminating the need for unnecessary visits and offering assistance anytime, anywhere. Their flagship product, text-based care in under 15 minutes, has been widely utilized by parents since its launch in July 2022. The company aims to revolutionize pediatric care and provide comprehensive support to families in need.
