Ozon, the marketplace giant, has unveiled its crowdsourcing platform, Ozon Profit, for external companies. This platform offers a ready-made solution for data annotation for machine learning and content moderation.

Previously, Ozon Profit only attracted performers for moderating its own content. Now, businesses from any industry can post their tasks, set rewards for performers, and track the progress of their execution.

The company states that the platform has gathered over 30,000 verified performers ready for work and training. They can be tasked with annotating and moderating text, images, and videos in customer reviews or other online publications, as well as identifying themes, intentions, and emotions in texts and reviews, chatbots, and inquiries.

The project is aimed at marketplaces, IT startups, and companies. Integration with API is provided for seamless operation, allowing clients to automatically create projects and upload data. A fixed commission is charged for using Ozon Profit, regardless of the task type or scale.

"Ozon Profit will provide any company with the ability to quickly and accurately annotate data, moderate content, and enhance recommendation and search algorithms," clarifies Ksenia Tikhonova, the director of the trading platform.
