Israeli cybersecurity startup Miggo Security recently secured $7.5 million in seed funding to bolster its application detection and response platform. Founded in 2022, Miggo's platform aims to fill a crucial gap in application security by enabling real-time detection and response to targeted application attacks. With applications being the primary target of nearly 80% of data attacks, Miggo's technology is designed to analyze interactions and data flows within applications to detect and mitigate attacks before they escalate into breaches. The platform's focus on distributed application architecture addresses the evolving threat landscape, where attackers can manipulate flows between services without triggering existing security services. Miggo's solution provides precise detection and response for unexpected behaviors in live application environments, offering insight into the inner workings of today's distributed applications. Led by YL Ventures Ltd., the seed funding round also saw participation from Cyber Club London and individual investors from leading tech companies like Elastic, Google, Zscaler, and Nike. Miggo's innovative approach to application security highlights the need for continued innovation in addressing blind spots within security programs.
