Grow Therapy, a NYC-based mental health technology company, raised $88M in Series C funding. Led by Sequoia Capital, the round also saw participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives and PLUS Capital, as well as artists and athletes like Anna Kendrick, Lily Collins, Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow, Jrue Holiday, and Lauren Holiday. Existing investors Transformation Capital, SignalFire, and TCV also joined in. The company plans to use the funds to expand operations and R&D. CEO Jake Cooper leads Grow Therapy, a provider-centric mental health technology company that aims to improve access to mental healthcare. They offer therapists and prescribers business tools, services, a peer community, and expertly matched patient referrals to help them establish and grow private practices. With a network of over 12,000 providers, Grow Therapy works with insurers like Humana, Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. Cooper stated, "Empowering people to find and engage with effective mental health support is the most pressing need of our time." The $88 million Series C and the launch of a new measurement-informed care system mark significant progress towards fulfilling this goal.
