Grab to phase out GrabPay Card services in June
April 8, 2024, 3:32 pm
Grab, the super app, has announced the discontinuation of its GrabPay Card services, both digital and physical, starting from June 1, 2024. Users have until April 30 to request a replacement card if needed. Despite this change, GrabRewards points and GrabPay Wallet balances will remain unaffected. The company decided to focus on enhancing other offerings like PayLater by Grab and GrabPay Wallet, which have seen higher adoption rates. Additionally, Grab has partnered with Triple-A, a crypto payments provider, to introduce support for e-wallet top-ups using digital tokens on the GrabPay app in Singapore. This move aligns with Grab's commitment to providing a seamless user experience and staying relevant in the evolving fintech landscape.
