Revolutionizing Patient Discharge Management in Germany

Berlin-based health tech company Recare has secured €3.2 million to revolutionize patient discharge management in Germany. Founded in 2017, Recare's SaaS platform simplifies patient transfers from hospitals to care providers, eliminating the need for tedious paperwork. With a marketplace connecting 700 acute hospitals, 650 rehabilitation clinics, and 24,000 care providers, Recare has already benefited over 300,000 patients. The funding, including a €2 million loan from Gilion, will allow Recare to further enhance its digital solutions and streamline patient aftercare processes. Lead by CEO Maximilian Greschke, Recare is determined to transform the healthcare system by focusing on patient care, not paperwork.
