EarliTec Diagnostics, a medical device company in Decatur, GA, has locked in a hefty $21.5 million in Series B funding. Led by Nexus NeuroTech Ventures and Venture Investors Health Fund, this financial boost will fuel the company's efforts to expand commercialization and push forward with clinical research for their groundbreaking EarliPoint™ Evaluation tool. This tool is a game-changer for diagnosing and assessing autism in children as young as 16 months, giving clinicians a powerful new weapon in their arsenal. Spearheaded by Chief Clinical Officer and Founder Ami Klin, Ph.D., and CEO Tom Ressemann, EarliTec Diagnostics is on a mission to make early identification and treatment for autism more accessible to children everywhere. With the support of researchers from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory University School of Medicine, and Yale University, EarliTec is blazing a trail in the development of biomarkers that shed light on how children perceive and interact with the world. Thanks to the generosity of philanthropist Bernie Marcus, this cutting-edge technology is now in the hands of clinicians across 8 centers in 6 states in the U.S.
