BYD and GAC are set to begin production of luxury EVs with autonomous driving capabilities in 2025, powered by Nvidia's cutting-edge computing chip. Other manufacturers like Zeekr and Li Auto are also embracing AI for automotive innovation. BYD will utilize Nvidia's generative AI and simulation technologies to optimize its virtual factory and sales operations. Despite a slight decline in revenue from its automotive business last year, Nvidia is expanding its autonomous driving team in China, recognizing it as a key market for advanced driver assistance systems.
