"Interros, led by businessman Vladimir Potanin, has voiced support for the proposal to integrate Tinkoff and Rosbank into a single banking group. Potanin believes that merging the two banks will benefit customers, shareholders, and regulators. The integration process will maintain the licenses, brands, teams, and customer service standards of both banks. The move is expected to enhance customer service and increase the market value of the new banking group. The TCS Holding board has set the price for the additional share placement to acquire Rosbank, with shareholders set to make a final decision on May 8. Interros acquired Rosbank from Societe Generale in 2022 and also purchased a stake in Tinkoff Group. Both banks have faced Western sanctions in recent years. The integration process is being led by Tinkoff's team, with CEO Stanislav Bliznyuk playing a key role."
