MDaaS Global, a Nigerian health tech company, secures $3 million to expand its network and improve healthcare access across Nigeria. The funding, led by Aruwa Capital and Newton Partners, will support the launch of BeaconOS, a proprietary technology platform. MDaaS plans to expand its healthcare network to cover all Nigerian states, addressing the challenge of limited access to diagnostics and preventive care in the region. With a current network of 17 diagnostic centers, MDaaS aims to construct an additional 23 centers in the coming years. The company's innovative approach, including the SentinelX app for personalized care programs, has garnered recognition and success in serving both individual customers and corporates. MDaaS's integrated care network and BeaconOS capabilities have enabled the company to provide care to over 275,000 patients, with a focus on addressing prevalent health issues such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. The new investment will further enhance MDaaS's technology platform, develop new applications, and strengthen partnerships with healthcare organizations to streamline processes and improve access to high-quality diagnostics services. Adesuwa Okunbo Rhodes of Aruwa Capital Management and Llew Claasen of Newtown Partners express excitement about supporting MDaaS's mission to revolutionize healthcare delivery in Africa and drive systemic change for better healthcare access in the region. MDaaS Global's CEO, Oluwasoga Oni, emphasizes the company's commitment to building a healthier future for all Nigerians and Africans through affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare services.
