Logan Energy, a key player in the hydrogen power sector, has successfully secured a £5 million investment to fuel its global expansion and technological advancements. Headquartered in Edinburgh, the company has received over 50% of the investment from green energy investor Lanxing New Energy, with the remaining portion coming from Scottish Enterprise.

This investment will be used to enhance Logan Energy's technological infrastructure, expand its workforce, and support its ongoing projects in various countries including the Netherlands, Germany, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Spain, Singapore, and China. One of the company's strategic moves includes installing a hydrogen electrolyser at Arbikie Distillery in Scotland, allowing the distillery to power its operations with environmentally sustainable green hydrogen.

CEO Bill Ireland expressed the company's commitment to meeting the changing demands of the energy market and developing bespoke solutions to address supply chain issues. Lanxing New Energy CEO Yuxuan Zhang emphasized the importance of hydrogen in the transition to a low carbon economy and highlighted the partnership with Logan Energy to develop advanced hydrogen technologies.

Logan Energy's expertise lies in providing integrated engineering solutions incorporating hydrogen technologies, from production to distribution and fuel cells. The company has a track record of delivering projects in the UK and European markets, including hydrogen production and refuelling stations for various vehicles and fuel cells for heat, power, and cooling in landmark buildings.

With this new investment, Logan Energy is poised to further solidify its position as a leader in the hydrogen power sector and continue driving innovation in clean energy solutions globally.
