VelocityTX at its core is an innovation super-hub where entrepreneurs, and those who are interested in startups, can access the resources they need – capital, mentors, executives, scientists, deal flow, specialized manufacturing, etc. Whether it is an idea, a startup, or an early stage growth company, VelocityTX is here. VelocityTX also partners with foreign entrepreneurial service providers (EDOs, Government Agencies, Incubators, etc.) to build ecosystems and provide a two-way bridge for trade of ideas, startups, investments, and products & services. In keeping with our history and ties to Texas Research and Technology Foundation (TRTF), as well as the current gaps in the ecosystem in San Antonio, our initial focus is in the biosciences, medtech, and emerging technology, especially cyber security. But the vision expands way beyond that and will unfurl as we go forward. VelocityTX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRTF a non-profit dedicated to economic development through investments both in early stage companies and in the entrepreneurial ecosystem with a focus on biosciences, medtech, & technology - especially cyber security.
