Tidal is a Seed-stage venture capital firm that invests behind Australian & New Zealand founders that are bound for international markets with a product-led-growth strategy. We invest the first institutional cheque and follow on through to late venture capital stages (Series A, B, C and so on). We are headquartered in Sydney with an office in New York.
The Tidal team brings together operator and investor experience, with a combined 30 years of working in the venture capital sector and operational experience at global tech companies such as Atlassian, Yahoo, Inference Solutions, Rackspace and Broadsoft.
Tidal Ventures launched its first Seed fund in 2016 under the brand AddVenture Fund. Our second Seed Fund focuses on pre Series A investments with a predominant Australia and New Zealand lens. Our Opportunity Fund follows these companies into later stages, as well as investing in Australian & New Zealand opportunities external to the Seed Fund and in international markets.
