A leading player in the smaller buy-out market, Key Capital Partners (KCP), is one of only a few Private Equity (PE) firms specialising in working with entrepreneurial businesses worth between £5m and £30m. With offices in Leeds and London, it has one of the most experienced investment teams in the UK and offers national coverage. KCP has a strong track record of backing high growth SMEs through management buy-outs, equity release and development capital deals. With over £140m under management KCP is seeking to invest equity sums of between £3m and £15m in profitable, dynamic businesses where there is the opportunity to double the profits of the business over a three to five year period. Since launching its first fund in 2007, KCP has invested a total of £100m in over 20 businesses across a variety of sectors from school catering and recruitment to nursing care and online retail.
