ISDI Creative Accelerator

The Indian School of Design and Innovation / ISDI ( iss-dee) was founded in 2013 in collaboration with Parsons The New School for Design in the heart of Urban Mumbai. In July 2013, the school inaugurated its founding batch of Undergraduate Diploma Programme (UGDP), four year intensive programme (foundation year plus three year specialization) for students across the disciplines of fashion, interior, product and communication design. In September 2013, the school opened opportunities to engage in design education for graduates and young professionals with the launch of ISDI’s one year Post Graduate Certificate Programme (PGCP). ISDI's historic collaboration with Parsons The New School for Design, New York will enable students to benefit from Parsons’ rigorous curriculum, prominent visiting faculty, well established student exchanges and global relationships. The aim of the school is to deliver the latest interdisciplinary design education driven by students thinking and responsible innovation. All educational programmes are built upon the foundation of a forward-thinking and innovative curriculum, industry sponsored projects, national and international collaborations and a deep sense of social and environmental responsibility. The 3 distinct programmes offered here are: 1) Pre College Academy is designed for teens to make well-considered vocational choices with help of a fundamental process. 2) A four-year intense programme. 3) A one-year Post-graduate programme in Fashion Design Management and Creative Entrepreneurship.
