Blue Startups

Blue Startups is a Honolulu-based venture accelerator founded by Henk Rogers of Blue Planet Software (sole agent of Tetris®). Blue Startups invests and provides hands-on mentorship to capital-efficient and scalable-technology companies, including Internet, software, mobile, gaming and e-commerce. Blue Startups is a nexus of entrepreneurial activity not only in Hawai‘i, but also between Asia and the Continental U.S. Blue Startups has a network of more than 100 mentors reaching from China and Japan to Silicon Valley. All companies entering the Blue Startups program will receive $25,000 as an up-front investment, and access to over $800,000 in in-kind services. Workspace for the founding team (up to three people) will also be provided at the Blue Startups offices for the duration of the 14-week program. In exchange for the capital and in-kind services provided, Blue Startups will take an equity stake in each company. Blue Startups is a member of the Global Accelerator Network (founded by Techstars) – a network of more than 70 accelerators globally.
