DomaCom is a fractional investing Fund that enables investors to select any property for sale in Australia to invest in, including but not limited to residential, commercial and rural property.
DomaCom facilitates this through an online crowdfunding platform that combines the latest internet technology with an ASIC registered Managed Investment Scheme. Whilst the Fund buys the entire property individual investors can choose how much they wish to invest in it. In this way they can spread their money across multiple properties.
DomaCom effectively simulates the experience of investing in property but takes care of the due diligence process (conveyancing, valuation, property inspection and management) for the investors.
Fractional investing in property is similar to investing in company shares via the ASX in that it breaks the asset down into investable parcels making an investment in property available to many more people.
There are 3 exit strategies for investors including an online liquidity facility whereby investors can sell their units to other investors at any time (subject to buyers being present).
