Brainreader was founded in 2011 by scientist Jamila Ahdidan, PhD, with the goal of using AI to reinvent the medical diagnostic paradigm and in the process, improve treatment outcomes for patients living with neurodegenerative diseases.
While completing her PhD, Jamila witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by neurologists and other specialists in the early diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, as well as the poor patient outcomes that resulted. She also recognized the potential of AI and algorithm-based programs to improve the diagnostic process and drive significant reductions in misdiagnosis and healthcare costs.
It was at this intersection that Neuroreader® was created.
