Aepnus Technology is working to electrify and decarbonize the production of various commodity chemicals. What that means specifically is that we are building technology to use electricity, ideally from renewable sources, to synthesize chemicals through a process called electrolysis. At present, our main focus lies on the electrolytic conversion of Lithium and Sodium Sulfate into Lithium and Sodium Hydroxide, along with concentrated Sulfuric Acid. This application is particularly relevant in the context of Battery recycling and Battery Materials processing.
