Voltiris develops the very first photovoltaic modules for glass greenhouses. This innovation allows for double-land use of greenhouses’ surface, generating electricity with no reduction of crop productivity. For growers, this translates into improved energy independence, increased profitability, and reduced carbon footprint.
Voltiris’ technology separates the light components coming from the sun, transmitting the required light for photosynthesis to the crops while transforming the rest into renewable energy. As the solution is installed inside greenhouses, it does not require any building permits to be deployed.
Growers are offered a long term energy contract to benefit from the solution without requiring a significant upfront investment, hence allowing an accelerated adoption.
