Instrumems Inc. developed a new sensing platform that is based on a nano-wire, which allows measurement of humidity, velocity and temperature in a faster, cheaper and with a smaller footprint compared with conventional measuring techniques. The sensors are fabricated in a cleanroom environment using MEMS manufacturing techniques.
The technology was initially developed at Princeton University and since then has been (validated in many research labs). Instrumems Inc. was established to further develop the sensor platform and bring it to market as an integrated sensor.
